Vacuum Flask

A vacuum flask or Dewar flask is used to maintain the temperature of drinks or soups for extended periods. Made of insulating material with a dual-wall design, a vacuum flask is used to extend the time over which its contents can stay hot or cold. The vacuum flask was invented by Scottish scientist, James Dewar in 1892. It was then acquired by two German glassblowers who then introduced a more vigorous design for the vacuum flask suited for daily usage.

Vacuum flasks are made of metal or glass and can retain heat from 6 to 24 hours depending upon their quality.
